3pm C.S.T.
I have walked the distance on a tightrope between time and space.
For me it is a rather old and familiar place.
Its a place just out of reach that is very beautiful
and yet it seems very far away I hope that
i will live long enough to see it one day.
Its just over the Horizon and past the Milky Way
i hope that i'll live long enough to see it one day
Man is not yet fully grown and thinks he's ready
to conquer the stars and the galaxies;
will someone awaken this child please!
From where i stand i can see the constellations
of every grandure, name and type what i see
as one thing is another in a different light.
I love the feeling of being without gravity
floating out here in space is just fine for me.
I have no desire to return to earth
out here amongst the stars is the
home of my birth.
If i am to die it will be amongst the echoes screaming from the shroud
All the lights are on and its better then the home of the hollywood crowd.
Don't you know i've been a poetic dreamer and a rock'n roll star
yet this is better then all of that...simply by far.
