Hmmm, one thought after looking at it a while. your LOP [length of pull] looks a smidge long. I've found that a 12.75" [324mm] LOP seems about right, while yours is at about 15.05" [382.61mm]. Might be okay with a bare shoulder, and blading your body to the target, but would be a touch long for squaring up, especially while wearing body armor [like any good USCMC grunt should be] putting your thickest armor plating towards the enemy.
Just an observation

One nitpick. Two triggers in the trigger guard is an accident waiting to happen. Instead, moving the trigger for the GL to the original "in front of magazine" position on the M41A would work better. not only would you solve the accidental grenade discharge issue, but it encourages a proper hold to the Marine for firing the grenade.

the big red lever is designed to be a trigger disconnect to avoid accidental discharge.
I'm planning on doing an alternate version at some point, once i finish current projects.
plus the magazine could only hold 50 rounds. the 100 round mag on the calico rifle is far too long for use in the field, and the idea of a u-bend conveyor in the original pulse rifle just will not work no matter what you do with it!!

Another idea could be to use a double crescent trigger like on the MG34, depressing the top trigger fires the rifle and the bottom one fires the grenade launcher.

okay, I can see the disconnect idea. Theres a lot of "wasted" space inside even the double stack Calico helical feed mags, not to mention from what I hear the reliability is ...iffy. A P90 style stick or a G11 stick is feasable, especially since we are talking an electrically assisted firearm. You could have the entire loading and feeding mechanism run by motor, thereby removing the need for a spring in the magazine. in addition, the G11 "turn table" chamber would remove the need for the rounds to line up parallel to the bore axis before feeding. There was a PDW concept that used cased ammo in a similar idea, moving it to a rotating feed tray before feeding it into the chamber.
