Very nice! I know nothing about formal portraiture, my comments come just from what I know I like. The pose and choice of background are both great. He's a beautiful animal.
One tiny thing, since you asked for critique. It's probably strictly personal preference, but I find the cropping just a hair narrow. It feels a tiny bit constricted, side to side.
Doesn't matter, I like it a lot!
