I have seen many pictures of Rinzler but to me they all seemed a bit off,
then I see yours and I believe this is the build that all the others should draw him with.
I don't know but to me it fits.
Though I do believe that the little heart up at the top is quite cut off

The way you colored them is beautiful, I simply love the shadows.
Also the go board seems fine, it could very well be on a giant itouch thingy.

Hahaha! oh man, this is so cute! I loved the little noises Rinzler made in the movie and this is the most adorable take on it XD You did a great job with Rinzler he totally looks like a human shaped cat, leaning forward and all relaxed (totally reminds me of my cat!) and Sam is great too, just scratching his chin absently ^^ this pic is wonderful!

It was a really subtle thing that only came up occasionally. I prefer to think he was suffering some vocal corruption due to getting whacked by Clu, but all the fangirls like the idea of him purring.

I think the corruption thing is actually what happened. He's got no voice box, so all he can manage is rasps and growls and maybe the occasional word. I never heard it as purring myself.
