Being a Titan, Sioux is actually a magical nature spirit. It causes all sorts of mythical creatures to befriend her. Including this phoenix here. It's basically her 'job' to protect the all. She runs into quite a few while hiking. Luckily she's invulnerable so the fire and talons don't hurt
At first I was going to make it a falcon because there's one (or two) that live in my neighborhood now and I'm always super excited to see it perched on my back porch. I know my falcon friend is out there hunting mice and keeping them out of our house so I love them. But a regular falcon just wasn't enough for my Sioux... Superman could never LOL
