The look on his face is incredible! Curious and focused like he is watching some prey.
Amazing work.

Wtf is wrong with you. Killing a beautiful creature JUST to put it in your house. Humans are selfish. This world is sick.

Oh look. Someone who can't read, ignores facts, and jumps straight to freaking out.
Straight from the description... THIS LION DIED AT A ZOO IN BELGIUM.
By the way, most taxidermists don't kill what they mount; they work for hunters. Though there are several of us who hunt, trap, and taxidermy. Many people here in Canada hunt for the meat; the hide is a by product. Even bear is usually hunted more for the meat here, and here in Canada it's also ILLEGAL to waste that hide or let it be destroyed. Same as it's also ILLEGAL to waste the meat of a deer and let it rot.
Many self taught taxidermists also work largely with ROADKILL or FOUND DEAD wildlife. I'm personally licensed to hunt, but not yet licensed to shoot. However, my hunting license makes it easier for me to get hides from hunters that don't want them. My coyote, Striker, was from a hunter that was just going to let her ROT.
But it's far better to let them decay to nothing rather than preserve their beauty. Really sick and tired of seeing this line of logic. Especially from people who think it's also acceptable to burn antique fur coats. Because screw preserving the beauty, let's just destroy it! Wait..Isn't that exactly what the anti-fur community says we taxidermists do; destroy? Hah.
