Who she is:

Mute is a human born under unknown circumstances. What makes her more non-human than the rest of mankind is the fact that she possessed two souls from the day she was born, sharing one body. But unfortunately one soul devoured the other creating Lilian, a carnivorous demon. But instead of Lilian taking over, the body of Mute, as a reflex oppressed the demon soul. This instance left Mute more or less a soulless entity for the time being.

This made her act neutral and emotionless for most of her life, which strangely enough helped her learn witchcraft. Learning witchcraft as a human is very difficult and for most impossible, but she got through and studied to great success. She is currently researching on the sentience of cacti.

Looking back at her condition, it´s more a curse or an illness. The only emotions that she could experience were at a given time, anger, depression, sadness and aggression. Those were the remains of Lilian that sometimes scratched the surface, but fortunately not frequently.

One day she met a young looking man with silvery-white, long hair and yellow glimmering eyes. This mans name was Aiden. The most important role he plays in her life is that he serves as a substitute for her long lost other soul. Since they met, she started feeling all kinds of emotions again. But the relationship they have isn't a physical or romantic one. They simply are dependent from one another in a way that is complicated and very unusual. Being near each other gives them both the feeling of being human.

Personality:

Mute is, as her name might implicate, more of the quiet kind of people. She can talk of course, but she chooses her wording very wisely and speaks calmly and most of the time in a more quiet voice. She also tends to cry very easily, hence giving her the title “Crybaby” or “A delicate flower in the need of care”. She´s very polite and tends to avoid stress or confrontation as much as possible. All she wants is some peace and quiet, because she gets headaches very easily. This also reflects her taste in music and is the reason that she likes to listen to lo-fi and chill music. Mute has an intense love for aesthetics and beauty and likes to devote her time to those things, like creating new plants with pretty blossoms, drawing or dressing herself in a certain manner. She loves beauty so much that she won´t remove the parasitic plants growing through her skin, because she thinks they look pretty.
