Guppy has avoided the Zuuren markets for almost two years now. Ever since his mother's sudden withdrawal from the family, visiting the markets was a painful reminder of her and the time they spent together when he was young. However, Guppy has had a lot of time to come to terms with his mothers choices and is beginning to move on and once again visit the markets, try new things and meet new Avus.

This piece was a big challenge for me as I almost never draw with perspective but I wanted to give it a go. Ever since I joined the Girfugol Group I wanted to draw my interpretation of the Zuuren Markets and I'm so glad I motivated myself to start and finish it! This drawing also has some sentimental value for me as, just like Guppy, I have been in a not so good place the last two years but I'm slowly making changes to better myself and my mental health.
