The first thing that catches my attention is the palm, which has very nice linework. Unfortunately, my eye is left unsatisfies by the rest of the piece, almost thirsty for less loose linework and tighter detail. The fact that the focus is in such an odd place also throws me off a bit; the detail concentration is disbalanced. I love the color choice and where you're headed with shading. This is a good color sketch, but after seeing your other work, I can conclude with confidence that this piece is far from finished.

I find it hard to go back and refine my work after the fact. That's why I moved this one over to this folder and out of "Featured" . When I did Carefree this year it was kind of my " let's see how far I've come" piece

Yea this was one of my first pieces after I got my drawing tablet. I probably did this 3-4 years ago when I was in my teens ( which gives you kind of an idea about my age
