Description
The design was inspired by seeing water bottles constantly thrown away after they were empty. I wanted to show that empty bottles can serve a purpose other than being garbage. This raft was created with unusable wood the only thing purchased was the screws. The entire raft is supported by 2 boxes each holding about 275 bottles.

Yes I tested it with another person and it held both of us on chairs about 320lbs and the deck was still about 3 inches above the water. It should be able to hold a 3rd but havent tested it yet

that is fantastic. Its insane and amazing. I would like to feature it on my Recycle group if i may. I am always looking for out of the box recycle projects to share. i really love this. It reminds me of the floats all over lakes from my childhood. and they were made of plastic pickle barrels (and maybe sealed metal barrels) and docking materials. They were a blast to swim to and jump from.

Thank you. I was tired of seeing bottles thrown away and thought there could be other uses after they were empty, so I started gathering about 10 a day until I had about 550. I am editing a better photo with a few other angles that I should have up soon. I dont mind at all if you feature it at all. Thanks!
