I am very lucky to have Scarlet Tanagers nest at eye level with my lower deck - the birds, who are usually up high in the canopy, are always down low. Today, I discovered the female bathing in my small pond. The second time she went to it, her mate (photographed) waited on my fence for her to finish. It was great seeing this beautiful bird out in the open BELOW eye level from my window!
