Description
The Cardinals raided my feeders today while it was snowing. I got many great shots of them - this is one of my favorites. Oddly shot on the same branch in almost the same spot as my previous titmouse.Shot through my sliding glass doors.

All of your cardinal photos are absolutely gorgeous! I like this one best though because he appears to be smiling. Excellent work!

In Europe we don't have these beautiful birds.
I love it.

They are one of few extremely colorful birds we get here (that I can see often).

I do both inside and outside from my deck - when it's not cold I venture out to my trails.
This is the seed I use that the cardinals like: [link] (black oil sunflower, striped sunflower, safflower and sunflower chips). I put it in a tube feeder with a tray attached - they like to camp out in the tray - I hardly see them on the little perches.
I also have thistle for the finches and suet for the woodpeckers/chickadees/wrens.
