At first, my Less is More comic strips were only focused on three Soul Calibur girls: Ivy, Sophitia, & Taki. But later on, I began to think of other video game girls. The best example is Samus from the Metroid series.As you know, Samus will stripped down to her bikini if you get the best clear time for beating the game. So I just took one step ahead of the process.

Very good. The drawing and color looks completely original to me. It reminds me of the Metroid series where Samus (who is my most favorite female character all times) had all the uniforms (minus her being naked). I had looked at the other 'Less is More' and I think you did an excellent job on all of them in fact. I think you should do more, especially those that people who likes this also have their requested characters in as well. After all, I am sure there is a lot more watchers would like to see and you my get even more.

Oddly enough, Samus has worn more with each game.
The first one had her in a strapless bikini; the second in panties and a tank top, revealing, but still more fabric; in "Super Metroid" she's back in a bikini (arguably a one-piece); and on the GBA games she's actually wearing clothes on the unlockable images.

Pfft it's not like that Zero Suit leaves much to the imagination.
But I think that if Samus has to strip down to her bikini, she should have a beach and a nice rum cocktail to go with it.

A teacher of mine that was once in my school, named Victoria Karell, looks a lot like Samus. If there were a Metroid movie (which seems unlikely for the time being), I imagine her playing the role of the famous bounty hunter.

What's ironic about this is that as the years and Samus' games progressed, the reverse took place. She has gotten more clothed with them. She started out skimpy in the first Metroid for NES. Metroid 2 added a little to the top, Super Metroid turned it into a 1-piece, and by the time of the modern games, Samus had been stuffed in that full-body jumpsuit.
She is the polar opposite of Lora Croft in this field, and Nintendo seems intent on keeping her that way.

What are you talking about? She wore her armor consistently through Metroid, Metroid II, and Super Metroid. The only time you see her uncovered is at the end of the game (and only if you complete it quickly enough in Super Metroid).
Compare this to 2001 and beyond Samus, who has been more often shown in her blue skintight latex fetish jumpsuit without a mask.

Apparently only Athena is taking the trend backward.
The more she appears the more she is clothed.
When she appeared first in her own game she was wearing only a red bikini. And such during that game she had to get covered by collecting the pieces of her armour, the helmet first!

Athena started as a character in a 80s platform game of the SNK, a sort of counterpart of the Capcom Ghost'n'Ghoblins, female and reversed. Infact she starts the game in her red undies after dropping out of her dress (literally) down into the world of the game.
Athena appeared clothed since the beginning in another SNK Platform, Psycho Soldier, and then, more recently, became a costant character of the King Of Fighters series, every time with a different look.
Her lack of a costant clothing made her a less popular character than others.
As to know, Athena Asamiya is meant to be the human incarnation of the goddess she has the name of, as well as Saori Kido in Saint Seiya (AKA The Zodiac Knights). Infact they share some resemblance, and not ramdomly I think.
