the color, as you may have already heard, tight. I wonder how this was done.

the wide areas of space really make this photo, i think. those spaces compared with the diminutive human figures and the dainty, thin, almost toy-looking bike and sign and post. the colors are wonderful, as everyone else already stated and the peculiar-looking geometry of the zig-zag stairway/balcony adds some definitive detail to complete the perfect composition. the shapes and lines - three thumbs up.
to conclude, i say, well fucking done.

I love the subdued colours, how the asphalt looks green and how the pastel yellow of the building makes one feel warm and calm.
The father and daughter (?) on a sunny sunday walk completes the whole mood perfectly.

The colors are so very peaceful. They yellow is soft, blueish and not at all panicky. And the very low presence of red means the village monsters won't attack 
The elements are so spartan and focused, it tells a very good story..
