This one is about being in denial..---
I hope you like it. Illustrator CS5.
Update: I made an update to the illustration by adding a 3rd character (the "!" bird) because I felt it would further enhance the concept. I hope that those of you who already faved it still like it.

There could be two plausible scenarios, either one at work here:
1. The duck doesn't realize the origami is a fake; or
2. The duck realizes the origami is a fake, but instead filters that reality out from its mind (i.e. ignoring it) by choice.
In both scenarios, there is a selective perception at play, and thus denial prevails.
