Rarity wears eye make-up. If her eyes were closed, that would be seen quite clearly. But it's not. This means her eyes are, in fact, open.

I liked the sketch for this one a lot, but there's a huge number of people who think her eyes are broken. It's what practically half of the first impression comments are about.
I dunno about everyone else, but this looks like glee, not possession, to me. If I were to poke at flaws, it'd be with her far leg. Or the part where I hide the terrible perspective behind crazy curvy space distortion.
