Description
This was inspired by Celestia by Cizu . More or less the same composition, but done in what you could call "my style", by which I mean "I can't paint like that".Β Β I kinda wanted to have it more polished, but I also don't want to keep hanging on to it. It's basically a procrastination piece, so maybe I can get back to really working on things if I get it outta here.The wip uploads are here .

This was all done in Paint Tool SAI . It's lightweight, and has most of what I could need for painting.
It's getting a little long in the tooth, especially with regard to canvas size limitations, and it's successor, SAI2 is slow in coming, but I still can't give it up, even when faced with very similar alternatives. It's just too comfortable now.

It looks like the sort of thing that would get framed and put on the palace walls. Of course Celestia smirks a bit for it, rather that assuming the stoic expression that all people throughout history who think they're important enough to get a portrait done assume.
