This is a specially requested illustration for Kingdom Hearts: Rebirth of the Simulacrum , an amazing fanfic written by my friend with main illustrations by and many awesome side illustrations by .

Process (for those that care):
Drew out Roxas and the outlines of the memory fragments in pencil then inked by hand and erased the leftover pencil lines. Scanned and colored in Adobe Photoshop 6. Fragment images and darkness added afterwards. Many hours put into this, and I think it's one of my best works yet. The only thing that bothers me in this picture is that I elongated Roxas's body too much (side effect of trying to draw in my own style) and the way his face looks more like he's constipated instead of the emotion I was going for. XD

I waited to put it up for a long time because I wanted to have it up for a while since I'm really proud of it, and thought that some of my other art projects would be completed soon. But it looks like it will still be a while for those, and in that waiting time DA changed the setup so that it displays 4 of your latest works instead of just one now.
