Soooo you see no problem with the fact that you just ripped an image off Google, spent two minutes slapping poorly-written super-imposed text onto the image you stole, then uploaded it to a website meant for artists to showcase their work... and repeated this action multiple times?

It's not a matter of skill. Β It's a matter of effort.
There is no effort involved in downloading someone else's photo, pulling it up on MS Paint, and slapping bad grammar onto it.
Let's pretend for a second that this is a legitimate attempt at art, and not fap fodder. Β In this make believe world, I want to see some effort and some meaning placed into art. Β It's not something that takes a Google Search and five minutes in an image editor. Β It's something that takes time and passion.

Although the artistic expression is minimal, you are WAY overreacting. As long as this person isn't claiming credit for the actual image, (I do think he/she should state the image came from elsewhere) then what's the harm? Is this person crowding out other artists or negatively impacting your actions on DA? Are you going to peruse DA for people that use public images for some form of manipulation and bag on them as well? Maybe you'll start searching out accounts of people who just 'lurk and don't upload any kind of art at all...and who the hell are you anyways?
