Description
I don’t think people understand how nerve wrecking it can be to take photos of others. In the beginning, I always worry about taking good shots, or if the person will be satisfied at all with the end product. It’s also really difficult if the model is uncomfortable, so first you have to build a comfortable setting, which can be a challenge in itself because you’re sticking a camera in their face (I mean talk about invading personal space.)But I also don’t think people understand how rewarding all the trouble can be. I love it because after awhile the person gets it and starts their own thing and I feel like I’m developing an understanding with them, and there ends up being a lovely flow in the photo shoot.
Also after all my worrying, the end product usually is amazing because throughout the photo shoot I start viewing the person differently and notice different things that make them beautiful.
I think by the end I usually have different bond with the person.
