Being stressed, emotional, sick or tired - tends to bring out some of the most intriguing and unique inspiration in me. Sucks I can't quite tap into my bad moods to make use of it though. But I notice that these type of drawings, I tend to ignore the essential proportions n' anatomy and aim for the emotion & concept instead; 'spose it can be good tho, right?
It may irrelevant to the overall image, but I feel stupid for forgetting to draw my own lip ring. >:[ Rawr.

i know what you mean.. i seem to produce the better work when something is wrong with me emotionally. i can feel the emotional stress in the pic. i've been going through all kinds of it as of late and i this could describe me perfectly. i do love the red stitching against her white fur and the hollowed black rips - it almost looks like blood! nice cross stitch above her heart, too.
and her muzzle is very nicely done. i always have trouble with that angle. i like her little "teefers"
