Bond tries not to think about the two second delay between the first bullet, which hits Q in the chest and lodges itself in the vicinity of his trachea, and the second one, which passes cleanly through right above his left brow and spares him the agony of bleeding to death from a chest wound.

So I saw Skyfall some days ago, spurred by people online since I'm not really a Bond fan, and promptly added 00Q to my ever-growing list of ships. Except my way of shipping things tends to include obscene amounts of heartbreak and angst, so of course the first scenario that popped into my head was Q becoming collateral damage during a mission when Bond once again asks him to do something unofficial à la the breadcrumb trail for Silva.

The things I do to characters I love. Also, the foreshortening is probably crummy at best but I arrrrrgh had so much trouble with the pose to begin with I'm just not gonna keep at it.
