1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Scarily, longer than some of the youngest members of our community, and roughly a year and a half of me using the site went by before I signed up. Yeesh. Would never class myself as any sort of original member but definitely a dA Pensioner.

2. What does your username mean?

I made it up when I was 12, ok?

3. Describe yourself in three words.
Undeniably British, what.

4. Are you left or right handed?
What is the sound of one hand clapping?

5. What was your first deviation?
Long hidden away somewhere in storage along with the rest of the strange things I submitted in the early years, but instead, have a Domokun.

6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
Pixel art, despite its' drop in popularity recently. (And while I'm on the subject, go back Tower 57 on Kickstarter. It's got Cyangmou doing the art for it. Astounding.

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Purely on a self-improving basis, probably 3D as there's so much you can do with it and I've always regretted not picking it up. However I've always adored digital sketching and painting work and I wish I had the talent.

8. What was your first favourite?
Circa 2002. Still awesome.

9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Flicking through my favourites it seems like there's an awful lot of illustration- vector work, digital paintings and the like, but there's a lot more work on top of that on the site that I adore.

10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
You! (Everybody go 'aww' and then gag on your biscuits)

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Fella.

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
I'll mention a fellow group of deviants rather than a single one because it would be hard to pinpoint just one person who has impacted me here. I'd like to mention everyone, past and present who enjoyed and looked after the chat for this site. Way back from the somewhat crazy 'dAmn Army', the MN@ with their hats, CVs and the handful of admins now who stick around in :#devart ", you gave me a space to be myself, to grow, to make friends, to mess about, and for a while to boss you about. (I don't know how lots of you put up with me, seriously.)

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
Interesting question. I thoroughly enjoy using my SLR day to day but it tends to produce a record of an event or place, rather than what I'd consider art. My day job is spent as a front-end web developer, creating (if I do say myself) pretty nice-looking sites out of long, complex paragraphs of code in SublimeText. I guess if you class music as art (don't get me started!) then my drumsticks. Otherwise it's probably just an awful lot of Photoshop.

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
People and places inspire me all over- I'm a big fan of taking notes and photos and then taking idea home to work on. So many of my projects have benefitted from inspiration that I've got while out and about.

15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Hard pushed between my first ever devMeet and the HQ London meets in 2009/2012, but it's devmeets in general that helped me realise that the community behind this site is so important. Meeting people from here and hanging out having a picnic or chatting over a pint is incredible. Definitely worth going to one or running your own.
