After seeing that bemerry had produced an uncannily similar concept to one that had been on my mind for over a decade in this rather fine piece of art:bemerry.deviantart.com/art/Fre…
I dropped him a line and described that image to him, specifically a woman being dressed in a mermaid costume under similar circumstances.
He agreed to come up with something based on the concept, and the result is the unique and very interesting image that you see above.
While I have never actually written a story with this as the specific method of transformation, I have included variations on the theme in several others, and based on this, now may be the time to think about coming up with one.
