Description
This one came from playing unreal tourney 2004 the other day and thinking, yes i fancy making a vehicle similar to the Manta. Had great time modelling this baby and making the textures for her. Modelled in 3ds max 6, and rendered in vray.Comment are very welcome.
Hope you peeps like it.
And yes i'm thinking of making a scene with this one ( All sketched out, lol ).

I'm sorry I've no critique to offer, but I wanted to say that this is amazingly realistic and beautiful. So many tiny details...really love the fire extinquisher resting there!

This is pretty cool, as is the attention to detail. However, I think there's a little too much saturation in blue. It makes the piece a little overwhelming.

the website is still under development but the tuts for max will be coming soon, i will probably drop the photoshop tuts section and make it a downloads area for models, and shader libraries, so as of yet there arnt any tuts for max, although i do have down on paper what wil be going up there which will include alot of differnent tuts for max, not projects, but more sort of tips, render settings, lighting advice, meshsmoothing, stuff like that buddy..

real nice job modifying the thing. Perhaps you should think of making a mod for the game that would use that skin instead of the other one... of course that means you'd have to know how to do it. if you dont, then try learning it sometime, if you do, then I'll want to watch and see if anything comes out from you. again, Great job

lol, nice idea m8y, im working on a cuple od mods at the mo , but not for unreal, one is a homeworld2 mod, the other is a half-life2 mod, also an xbox 360 game may be coming my way, but we'll see, and as for skinning, its no problem there are like 4 ways to do this in max....
