Description
This one came from playing unreal tourney 2004 the other day and thinking, yes i fancy making a vehicle similar to the Manta. Had great time modelling this baby and making the textures for her. Modelled in 3ds max 6, and rendered in vray.Comment are very welcome.
Hope you peeps like it.
And yes i'm thinking of making a scene with this one ( All sketched out, lol ).

i tought myself mostly, i done a course in college but ended up knowing more than my lecturer in alot of areas, many a night up till like 4-5am messing with stuff, i have been learning for about 10 months from nothing now...

lol, funny you should say that, the original concept was in red, and i will be making another of these with differnt textures in the future to go into a full futuristic racing scene..

I love this picture so much. I've just played some ut 2k4. ONS, and just used this sweet Manta.
It's my favourite vehicle, cause it's fast and it's the only vehicle which has the ability to jump.
So actually it can't really fly >-<
It can't be hit by the avril (rocket launcher for vehicles) as easy as most other vehicles (example: scorpion).
Anyway, I gonna stop right here. I'm very happy I found this picture. (
I'm just too obsessed wit UT (it's getting unhealthy

i havnt played 2k4 in a long time m8y, in fact it aint on my pc atm, but plan on reinstalling it soon, most of my time has gone into learning more 3d skills, i play the occasional game of COD and battlefield2...

One thing, the top picture. The chrome intake on the side of the craft, behind the seat. In that one pic it looks like a flat decal. The rest though, it looks all too real.
