Wire (except for largest outer piece, the 16 gauge) is silver-coated, and the outer piece is copper. The stone is a lapis lazuli. I think I used wire gauges 16, 22, and 26. It probably took me around 6-8 hours of work over about three weeks. It was a Mothers\' Day gift for my mom.

Thanks! It's actually not that heavy--maybe 6 oz? Don't trust my answer on that--I've never been good at guessing, and I don't have access to it right now to weigh it.
