Boh, to tell the truth I do not particularly appreciate the Winx show because their stories are silly and compared to the first series has become merely commercial and soulless, but the character design is pretty and unusual for an Italian series, also as you see, the clothes seems to be made for the Bbutton fetish(XDXDXD). In the case of W.I.T.C.H. I hate the cartoon show because it was totally isolated from the comic books that I was a big fan of when I was a child. Into the comics Will& co. dressed those suites with the abdomen in sight because at that time, in Italy, the shows belly was a must for a transgry young woman or teens (and then I think Barbucci tried to give them a some more sexy look than the Japanese Maho shojo to got it out of his system! XD). I'm not sure if this answer really suits on your question. Unfortunately my English is bad and I use to blame that it is written to me. In case I apologize. ^^
