She was kidnapped by a woman named Wanda. Wanda's daughter lives with her father and Wanda is not allowed to see her. Caroline looks a lot like her daughter and when she was alone, Wanda took her chance to kidnap her. Wanda called her Kaleigh ( the name of her daughter) and Caroline wasn't allowed to say her real name or go outside.
Caroline tried to escape a few times and Wanda hit her as punishment. Caroline eventually got looked up in the basement for a whole day as punishment. She eventually died of her wounds. Wanda didn't want to bury her body, because she didn't wanted her ''daughter'' to leave her again. So she kept Caroline hidden under a few blankets. When a friend of Wanda visits her she smells a rotten air and she goes to the basement when wanda was upstairs. She discovered the body of little Caroline and immediately called the police.

Caroline was missing for a few months and her parents were looking everywhere for her. When the police found the body in Wanda's house, they immediately contact the parents of caroline to ask them if this was their missing daughter. They confirmed it was Caroline and of course they were sad but also relieved that she was found, because not knowing if your kid is dead or alive is a real torture.
Wanda had to go to prison for the rest of her life.

Caroline's soul couldn't rest so she i stuck between the human and death realm. most young kids see her illusion form, that is a form which makes her look alive, adults and teens can see her real form.

Facts:
- Caroline is able to float
- Caroline is able to create an illusion to look normal as told in the story

Funfact:
- Caroline isn't full of maggots etc because i'm just to lazy to draw them. but she is surrounded by flies 24/7.
- Caroline is a sort of fusion of two characters from the book ghostgirl written by Tonya Hurley. Rotting Rita and the main character Charlotte.
- she also is a little bit based of Samara Morgan from the ring.
