PROCESS
Rarity is made from snow white, purple and mauve minky.
She is 16" tall to crown. Her eyes, cutiemark and all her hair lines were embroidered with a Bernina 830LE embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software and feature gradients. The eyes were digitised by me and have 3d lashes. Her pattern was also designed by me. Her tail contains one piece of wire to support it's height, but otherwise the rest of her hair is wireless.
Please do not ask for the pattern, under no circumstance will I be giving it out.
COMMENTS
This sassy gal was a gift for my lovely friend Liz. She was kind enough to go out of her way to get me the entire mane 6 signatures (on fabric) at Bronycon this year. As thanks, I offered to make her a mane6 pony of her choice, so she could have a signed plush too. She chose Rarity, and picked an absolutely wicked expression to play with. It was so much fun to make her. I redid all my hair patterns to update her look, and used many new techniques on her (at least since my last Raritys). The result is definitely my favourite Rara I have made to date, and definitely one of my favourite standard size mares in general. Hopefully I will have some time to make the signed mane 6 soon.
