Rarity is made from white, sky and lavender minky. Her eyes and cutiemark were embroidered with a Brother Innovis 750D embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software. The eyes were designed and digitised by me. Her pattern was also designed by me. Her hooves contain poly pellets so she can stand very well on her own. She is 17 inches to the top of her head, with some wire in her mane and tail. Her mane and tail also contain quilt batting for extra volume and softness.

Rarity's mane and tail are covered in 100's of high quality diamante crystals. These crystals sparkle magnificently in the light, and are typically used on wedding gowns. Liquid sequins have also been applied to her mane and tail, giving a stunning icy blue shimmer, painted like facets of crystal. Her cutiemark has also been painted so it shimmers blue when it catches the light. No photographs or videos can truly capture how she glimmers.

Rarity's mane and tail have been extensively airbrushed using fabric paint to replicate the look of the Crystal ponies. Stencils, freehanding and other methods were used to create the effect. Her body is sublimely soft, just as if it was never airbrushed, gorgeous to the touch. I will not be discussing how I did this effect, or what paints I used etc. Please do not ask. I put many months into developing this technique and want to prolong people replicating it as long as possible.

Her earrings are made from super sculpey and painted in high quality acrylics. They hang from silver hooked earrings pierced into her ears.

I am truly proud of this pony. I have wanted to do justice to a crystal pony plush for a long time, and Rarity was the perfect candidate. Months of planning and research went into her, not to mention weeks of her actual creation itself. I used many new methods to make her, and I hope you love her just as much as I do. No amount of time or money was spared making her as beautiful as possible.

I VERY much doubt I will make crystal Rarity again, for an extremely long time at least. This is by far the most labour intensive pony I have ever made, and I don't intend to replicate her any time soon.

Please do not ask for the pattern, under no circumstance will I be giving it out.

Crystal ponies will be available for commission, but will have additional costs due to all the extra time/materials etc.
