Hm. I wonder how everyone came to be humaniod animals in the first place? With prey with as intelligent as the predators, there probably should be some sort of collapse in the food chain, unless the predators have some other advantage over their prey other than their intelligence. Its the mark of many predators, after all, that they're typically smarter than their prey, who only need to know the basics of surviving on plant matter and so forth; its the predators who have to smart enough to know how to survive on other living beings, who won't stay still like plants and have more to lose...

Yeah but have you seen the prey that wolfette's eaten throughout the story.
Dumb hippie and the dumb mom's children who well were children. So far most of the people that qualify as prey... have not been anywhere nearly as intelligent as Wolfette.
To be fair Wolfette as the ability to mimic voices damn near perfectly so she's got that going for her.
