Hmm.. yeah, i couldn't resist >< i had to enter this!
Actually, i waited for so long just because i discovered the battle frontier group too late to enter the first contest ç_ç
However, lately i had some spare time, so here it is my application form ^^

Well, what to say.. i tried to mix up some pixel art with my usual digital art in order to make it similar to the game. I also chose the movesets and the natures of the pokemon starting from some competitive sets and modifing them to make them more suitable for that kind of contest.
Ah, I personally think that bringing around a bike maybe a bit uncomfortable, so i prefered a kickscooter, which is foldable and can be brought around even if you dont use it (like this one [link] that becomes smaller tha 30 cm when closed)

--About Neeja--
Neeja is a young Pokémon trainer, who started her journey from the region of Kanto, but travelled in many different countries.
She spent her childhood with her parents right out of Pallet Town, in Route 1, playing around with her best and only friend, Kidel. This idyllic scenario lasted for not so long, because Kidel was older then Neeja, so received his Pokémon and left 3 years before her. Learning from him about the super-exciting life of a young Pokémon trainer (they always kept in touch via e-mails and videocalls) she could not but grew more and more anxious to start her own adventure. At the age of 10, Neeja finally received her first Pokémon (an Eevee named Kirjava, which evolved into an Espeon) at Prof. Oak's lab, and then started her journey. Her travelling took her through the region of Kanto, in which she collected all the eight badges from the Gym Leaders, then in the region of Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh, in which she collected some new bedges and so many Pokémons she kept with her.
Neeja is quite a shy girl, who doesnt talk too much with people she doesn't know (and that sometimes makes her look like a person always annoyed). Anyway, if you succeed in gaining her trust, she will surely be a loyal friend. She's a bit clumsy and a little fearful, but she can win her weaknesses if necessary. Food addicted.

--About the Team--
Kirjava (Espeon, female): Kirjava was Neeja's first Pokémon, which she got at the first stage of her evolution, as an Eevee. At the very beginning, the Pokémon was not so confident in Neeja's training skills, because she was so impressed by the things Kidel told her that she always subjected the poor Kirjava in some absurd and impossible training stages (things like tossing her against a combee's beehive, trying to teach her how to surf by splashing her into a lake, etc). However, Kirjava got to understand, step by step, that Neeja wasn't mean to her on purpouse: after they got defeated in Fuchsia City gym by Koga, Neeja cheered her up by giving her some exclusive Poffins she menaged to get somehow directly from Sinnoh. Kirjava understood that Neeja really trusted her, so evolved into an Espeon (and then they really rocked out Koga and his Pokémons, but that's another story :°D).
Kirjava is quite similar to her owner: shy, clumsy and timorous; she likes to sleep very much and she's sweets addicted. Anyway, Kirjava is very clever, and she menaged to save Neeja from some very dangerous situations without letting her notice it at all.
She also has a feature she acquired after the evolution: hit by the light, her coat reflects the colors of the rainbow.

Charlie (Gengar, male): While paying a visit in the Pokémon Tower located in Lavender Town, Neeja found herself in front of a sad and quite pitiless situation: a bunch of Gastlies were all together fighting against a very dark Pokémon that Neeja could not immidiately recognize. After sending out Kirjava against the Gastlies to turn them away, Neeja found out that a black, blue-glowing Gastly, with a big scar on his left eye and very sharp teeth, was the target of the attacking Pokémons. Neeja felt sorrowful for him, and told him that, despite everything else, she found him very cute. That shiny Gastly began following Neeja all over the Tower, pretending to show her each floor, and playing some pranks to her (Kirjava found them very scary, but Neeja strangely enjoyed). Neeja decided in the end to officially catch him in a Dusk Ball, and then Charlie was part of the team. After evolving into an Haunter, he remained in this evolution stage for quite long: one day, Kidel announced to Neeja then he was going to challenge the Elite Four, so she decided to sent to him her Charlie in order to help. When Kidel gave Charlie back to her, he was a completely black Gengar.
Charlie is a pranker: he likes very much to play tricks at the poor Kirjava, who always gets scared to death, but even to the other Pokémons of the team. Because he can't see very clearly with his left eye, Neeja gave him the Wide Lens as the object to keep during the battle, from which Charlie never parts. He loves to do toungue most of the time, but grinning is his second hobby. He uses to help Neeja with Kirjava's "training".

Hayate (Empoleon, male): During her travelling around the region of Sinnoh, Neeja met a very gentle and nice old woman, "Gramma", who lived with a little Piplup near Lake Verity. For quite some time, Gramma noticed some strange movements around the lake, and suspected that the team Galactic was planning something about it. One day, she decided it was enough to wait, and that it was time for some action: she went with her Piplup to face the team of villains, and she was doing well, until they captured her little Pokémon thanks to some dirty tricks. Neeja came in help, defeated the team and gained back Piplup. However, Gramma wanted Neeja to keep him, because he would have been safe with her. Both Neeja and Piplup (now named Hayate) were excited about travelling together, and Neeja promised to come paying a visit, from time to time, in order to let Gramma see how Hayate was doing.
Hayate, which Neeja always refers to as "Hayate-kun", is kinda modest and humble to be an Empoleon: although he's so quiet, he still has somehow a real obsession for money, as much that he chose to wear the amulet coin by himself, and never agreed to change that tool.

Fucur (Altaria, male): Right after going through the Meteor Falls, in the region of Hoenn, Neeja camped to rest with her team. As usual, she took out her berries to give them to the Pokémons, but as soon as the berries were out of the bag, a cerulean ball flashed and the berries were gone from Neeja's hands: a little Swablu stole all the fruits and was flying away! Neeja ran as fast as she could, but it was useless. Anyway, instead of getting angry, she decided to prepare a trap (obviously inspired by Charlie): she left few berries in a row, leading the Swablu in a dead-end. The battle began, and in the end Neeja caugth the Pokémon with her Great Ball.
Neeja likes to spoil him with a lot of berries, and she also loves his fluffy wings, so much that she sleeps hugging Fucur when she sleeps outdoor.
Fucur is a determined Pokémon, and quite proud of himself. His wings are so soft that not only Neeja, but even the other Pokémons like to sleep near him.

Yuki (Ampharos, female): Ok, now what do you think a girl like Neeja would do after learning that a Pokémon like Ampharos exists? As soon as she arrived in Johto she started to look after one of those Mareeps. In a particular field, she found a whole flock of them laying around in the grass, but after she got nearer to catch one, many of them started to run away. Only one staid still on his spot, not moving at all. Neeja thought that that Mareep should have been the only one so brave to face her directly! But even after sending out her scary Charlie, the Pokémon just stared at the two of them. Before attacking (would you attack an armless Pokémon like this?), she tried to toss her Ultra Ball. Mareep was caugth! Neeja could not believe it. After calling her out, the Mareep started to cuddle near Neeja's leg and it was done: Neeja melt and went around hugging Yuki all over the field.
Yuki is obviously extremely quiet and compliant, and she never acts if Neeja doesnt give her the order. She seems to like very much her glasses, but that is not sure, because she may like everything else you give her. She always walks on tiptoe.

Horo (Vulpix, female): Even if the Cinnabar Island is now covered with lava, it has not always been so. At her first visit to this Island, Neeja could not miss to enter the Pokémon Mansion. She started to explore each room, fighting against a lot of wild Pokémons. When she got tired, she noticed a strange white and oval rock: perfect to rest a little! But while she was sitting, Kirjava suddenly acted strange, like she wanted to tell her not to sit: too late, Neeja already sitted there. Immidiately, she jumped up, because she felt quite clearly that something kicked her: the rock was moving! After an accurate exam, she came to the conclusion that it was an egg, and not a rock. It took some time, but eventually the egg hatched, letting out a very little Vulpix.
Horo is somehow the mascotte of the team: Neeja likes to pet her beautyful and warm tails when she's asleep. Little as she is, Horo is quite naive and unconsciuos of the dangers she often incurrs, so Hayate and Kirjava are always looking after her.
