This isn't my usual type of subject, since most of my art has been of beautiful *men*. But it was nice to explore rendering beautiful women for a change of pace and this commission gave me a concept that was fun to play with.

The idea for the piece is original to the one who commissioned me:

A mermaid comes across a human diver who has recklessly swam too deep and run out of air. To save the diver's life, the mermaid transforms her into a mermaid.
