This piece really tugged at my heartstrings. Not just because of the emotion I tried to convey in the piece, but the song that inspired it. The moment I heard this song for the first time, I was entranced. Sadness, hope, unending love......these emotions were all wrapped up into one song.
I am still so amazed how this one song has affected me so deeply......

Review time!
Not going to do too much anatomy as the subject matter is a statuette:
Let's start with the fun part, her boobies. Okay, so her right breast connects to her body in a place that's extremely low compared to the norm, if you examine your own chest, note how the top of your breasts connect in the region right below your arm pit and in the upper sternum/chest area? The bottom of the breasts connect not much lower from that, so her right breast line would continue up into just about the middle of her chest. You also have her left breast connected to her arm, when it should be at the edge of the arm pit. Her arm and shoulder area is also a bit too thick for her corset worthy waist, so either give her a bit more width in the waist or make the arm just a hairline thinner. The profile view on the face is really well done, especially considering that this can be one of the trickiest facial angles to make look believable. Her neck is also a little bit too thick up front, so you can reduce that line by a little bit as well to make it look more natural.
The toga/waist thing (I have no idea what it's called) is drawn so that it dips down on the side of her inner thigh, not exactly in the middle. I don't know where you were trying to have it centered so I'm just going to point it out hehe. I feel like you could have done a couple more shards and fractured bits on the shattered region of her body. It increase the gravity of just how heart broken she is and give just a tad bit more depth and emotion to your piece. I think it also would have been a lot better if you had drawn her with her eyes closed, as it would've given the picture a more solemn feel and drawn a bigger reaction out of the viewer. Remember, it's not only your job as an artist to create art, but also to stir emotion and think how this would effect the viewer on a psychological level.
The color is very well done and consistent. While I think there could have been more detail to her hair, it also fits in with the overall minimal detail approach to collective whole. I like the message you're trying to convey us, and it's presented in a fairly original manner. I also like the fact that you've almost kind of inserted yourself into this and that the picture is based heavily on emotion and feelings. Songs are the best source of musical inspiration, a lot of my greatest things were done when listening to equally great songs.
