This is going to be a difficult conversation all around, but at least the other Nightmares are willing to listen.Β Still, the Puppet better choose his words carefully.

I still think that since Springtrap fits right in with a horror attraction, that Calvin would have seen him as cute/Friendly, since he is already frightening enough.

I hope the conversation between Ian & company (Springtrap excluded, he doesn't count.) and the Nightmare won't turn out into a bad mess, but then maybe Ian has to be incredibly insensitive to make it turn that bad. I'm crossing my finger and toes for him!Β Β

Ian will try to keep it on track, but that doesn't always work out the way he wants.Β Here's hoping he doesn't end up with more than Plushtrap miffed at him.

Negaduck9 I hope you don't mind but I recreated your "The Chase" art on my page. I love your art and I was wondering if I can recreate some of it in SFM. I wont claim it as mine but I will take credit for recreation in SFM but not the original art, text or anything.

True, but skill in the workshop has nothing to do with gender.Β Fredbear is male and Nightmare is genderless.

I'd think Nightmare's male too as he's essentially a shadow version of fredbear, shadow freddy...essentially, but that's just my assumption but eh

This is a very sensitive subject.
π: 0 β©: 1
davidabeats In reply to Negaduck9 [2015-10-31 15:57:24 +0000 UTC]
What is sensitive about it?
π: 0 β©: 1
Mirage-Epoque In reply to davidabeats [2015-11-06 09:17:28 +0000 UTC]
The reason why it is a sensitive subject is because it's about Calvin. The Nightmares were created or as you could say "born" from Calvin's shattered mind and also from his fear of the real animatronics and the trauma of his own death. They're a essentially a part of him and cared a lot about him in their own way when they weren't controlled by "The Hunt".
If Marionette started to behave like Springtrap did like when the jerkwad told Plushtrap in his own tactless way Calvin had ascended to heaven, it wouldn't have ended well. Plushy ran off in tears, and I doubt the other nightmares will react like Plushy did if Marionette doesn't tread this subject about Calvin very carefully.
I hope this could answer your question.

I still have a few more questions, but this helps a lot. So basically, Calvin is a valued character to these ppl, that's why the puppet needs to be sensitive. Got it, but why is he valued? I mean, they tried to kill him as much as the other animatronics, right? Is it because they were born from his mind? And if so, Calvin is dead right? How do they exist if he's already dead and they're a figment of his imagination?

Mirage-Epoque In reply to davidabeats [2015-11-07 18:57:49 +0000 UTC]
I'm glad to be of any help, and I'll try anwser your questions the best I can.
Remember though, that these are the thoughts of how I interpreted the Springalings characters and storylines and there's a possibility that I can be wrong since I'm not creator of the Springaling verse.
Well, from what I suspect from reading Springaling 68: "The Good Old Days". Is that the Nightmares were from the beginning Calvin's imaginary friends; the plush versions of Fredbear, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy. Before Calvin's death all that they were his best friends and were as real as he made them out to be.
But after "The Bite of '87" and Calvin's suffering and trauma corrupted him to the point that he unintentionaly ended up in a self-inflicting horrifying nightmare which he didn't know how to get out from. The Nightmare animatronics became who they are now because of the very twisted corruption and were reborn as the animatronic monsters and tormentors that Calvin saw the real-life animatronics as.
Β Here's some great quotes from Negaduck9 that explains some of you questions more better and more depth to them;
""The hunt" takes place in the mind of the bitten child, so the characters he has created can only behave as he allows them. Β They are essentially his puppets. Β That they were able to make Plushtrap and the Freddles indicates that the child *wanted* help, but had no clue how to escape his nightmare."
As for the question of them ceasing to be without Calvin sice they're a figments of his imagination. Yes; the Nightmares wouldn't be able to continuing existing when Calvin found peace and flew to heaven, but somehow in some way when the Nightmares lost their connection to Calvin they stopped being ferocious mind terrors and are now self-aware beings, trying to find their own way in "life".
Another quote from Negaduck9 adding some more conformation your last question;
If there's anything that I might've missed or anything else you wish to ask, you can send me a note.

I will admit a lot of people did think that. But don't forget the massive fight between the bite of 83 and the bite of 87 (in on the 83 and I think you are on the 87 side)
It really did kill the sad ending, slightly that is one of the reasons I never bully
