I don't know how to change the links, could you please explain?

In the header of the skin, there's a line with texts similar to this:
<a href="">Link 1</a>
Copy the link location from adress bar and paste it between the brackets, so it'll look like this (and replace the text in the middle with link description):
<a href="http://www.deviantart.com">DeviantArt</a>
You can do the same with the other sample links, add some more or remove some.

When editing a journal entry, press "Options" tab on top, and you'll see Header, CSS code and Footer fields

You're welcome!
Gallery css can't be installed in the main gallery, only in custom folders you've created yourself. Try opening those folders' options, and you'll see the box to place the css into.

Em, I forgot to tweak the URL so it would be displayed as text in a comment. I mean, your links look like this at the moment:
http://spring-sky.deviantart.com/#
Or, for example, on journal entry page:
http://spring-sky.deviantart.com/journal/32216329/#
