I rendered it a quite large size, then just make the image smaller in photoshop.

Infinite. This piece makes me feel infinite. It gives off that feeling much in the same way that I'm sure standing on top of a mountain, looking round at the surrounding distances, would make me feel. I haven't experienced this sort of wonder since the last time there was a violent thunderstorm at three in the morning and I was watching the massive, ominous clouds speeding across the night sky. This reminds me of Journey's old album covers, the angle of the light and the planets or moons or whatever those are that are amidst the stars.
I am unsure of what to call it, the line of cloud-like substance that lies near parallel to the burst of light, captures me as well, as if some sort of craft had just been there. It reminds me of jets and the remnants of exhaust they leave in the sky long after they've gone.
This is very impressive and I like the feelings that it evokes. Definite favourite.

this piece is stunning, the colours are great, the angle is unusual and works really well, the sun's rays are perfect and the stars and planets are fantastic.
congratulations on a well deserved DD

Very nice. It's always great to see unusual renders - not those ultra ΓΌber space-like things. And if this is about realism, i guess you've done it quite right

What can I say, it looks just like a photograph... Somewhere in the vast emptiness of space...
The angle is great because it's so real--I've taken shots myself at an angle like that. The mountain range is superb, gives off such a different feeling than if this were just stars and moon and sun.
Though I would like to know how you did the stars. I've seen that many time and each instance it makes me very curious.

I thought it was a photograph as well! I love the contrast of the image.. Only thing I dont like is I think the upper sky- with the stars moon, etc, looks a little too busy. Loses a tad of realism from that.. or something. Cant put my finger on it.. never the less, this is a fav. <3
