This is absolutely gorgeous, the painting style of the great apartment as much as Maud herself. The brushstroke style matches the feeling of the period decor perfectly, feeling very cozy and chic. Even in her stoic fashion it does feel like Maud is making an effort to show some feeling for the artist to use, perhaps a bit expectant and very elegant. Boulder is pretty cute while getting started with the sketch. (Heh, it seems Boulder is left-hardened.) Anyway, this whole scene is fantastic, with every detail shown sweetly, down to the cute and silly portraits and fine furniture, etc. The lighting also does a lot for the mood, and the aging effects are a cute touch. Thanks for sharing.
