Chrome fights by using a mix of martial arts, she can also kicking of martial arts.

Background
In the past history, she was born over 4,000 years. She lived at far away hometown called Senbonzakura when since she was kid.
Then Chrome grew up as 16 years old. She always watching cherry blossom with her brother, Teo Sakurakouji. However Teo have to do something he must go take his mission.
Chrome was look down stubborn, Teo rub her head. "Don't worry, I promise I will come back home safety." Teo smile. He gave gave am ornamental hair stick to Chrome, she's happy and keep it safe.
Teo was gone into his mission, then Chrome was still lonely. Chrome's father came to see Chrome, he will teach lesson martial art to Chrome for strong. Chrome can also learn martial art style by her father. Her father taught Chrome how to do kicks and punch as martial art.
As 26 years old. She become Arnis, daughter of Sakurakouji clan. She would protect to her hometown. However an unknown enemy troop appear, Chrome's parent feel sense evil aura them, Chrome's father have to plan something. "Your mother and I planned to go to Eternal Spring. If we go there, I have to ask you a favor something later."
"Okay..." Chrome feel confused she have no idea what her father thinking.
And then they arrived at the mountain, Eternal Spring. "This is it. Eternal Spring. Chrome, I want you must find out what enemy's plan, I'm sure that they take our palace right now...we can't protect our hometown. We're leaving this place, If you finish, go back to Eternal Spring."
"But the spring...what you two go jump there?" Chrome asked

Chrome enter to entrance of the palace, she tell guard that she gonna join enemy's unit. The enemy leader want hear introduce name for her.
"I'm Rei. Pleased to meet you." Chrome told to lie them by her true identity hiding. the enemy leader let Rei pass introduce now, and them....
"I want you go to examine room, they will put mark on your back alright?" enemy leader said.
"Understood." Chrome (Rei) went to examine room, however enemy leader found out who she is. the enemy leader evil smile.
Meanwhile, Chrome (Rei) arrived to examine room, this procedure is extremely painful and long...then they trying to put "something" on Chrome's back. She feel painful, really able to endure such pain.
After examine done, Chrome was exhausted. "Are you alright?" he said. "I'm fine..."
"You must take rest, miss. if you done rest, go somewhere anything you want." he said.
"Thank you. I must take rest now." Chrome said. the man leave examine room. Somehow, Chrome take chance to find out enemy's planning.
She can't find anything enemey leader's room. She can hear something coming this room. She come to closer the door, hear what he saying.
"Everyone, find that woman who joined us. But I found out her true identity, Chrome Sakurakouji. Captured her alive now!"
Chrome shocked and leave the palace faster, she arrived outside and then she keep running. Chrome run toward to mysterious girl named "Cui"
"Hey! Where are you going? Why are you still hurry?" mysterious girl
"Sorry, I must leaving. I have to go. Oh, right. Can I ask you a favour please?" Chrome said
"Sure thing." mysterious girl said. "Don't tell anyone who am I, ok? I'm Chrome Sakurakouji. I will entrusting this to you."
"I understand. I'm Cui. Pleased to meet you."
"Cui, I'm leaving now." Chrome said. "okay, it isn't goodbye then someday we'll meet by fate!" Cui smiled.
"Ah, good. Is it okay with being best friend with you? I never have friends before, this is my first time." Chrome asked. "Sure! Have safe well." Cui smile.
"Thank you. Farewell!" Chrome running toward to Senbonzakura's entrance, now she's leaving.
Chrome arrived Eternal Spring, she gonna jumped to the spring. Chrome can breathe under water, something isn't right. She fell into eternal sleep long.
After 4,000 years ago, Chrome is sleeping herself in Water Ruin. She was sleeping on water ground, she isn't wake up responding then Kouji and Laura came to checking Chrome why she was lying down at Water Ruin. Kouji checking her condition, she was breathing and sleeping. That means Chrome was eternal sleeping from 4,000 years. Koji noticed something light coming from Chrome's back. Laura knew it, it must be curse for sacrifice Chrome's life. Koji and Laura must take Chrome safety to the lab at Hamel.
And then two hours, Chrome was woke up, she remember what happened to herself. She met Koji and Laura. Laura and Koji introduce themselves to Chrome, she thanks to two of them for take caring to herself. Laura asks Chrome about the picture Laura discovered a curse mark from Chrome's back. Chrome found out why this curse something kill herself. She won't forgive unknown enemy in the past. Laura know there's way to remove curse, tell Koji show the monitor about information that image about Sion's team.
For a certain reason, Chrome is interested in Sion and the others. Laura give letter to the bird that sent to where Sion's team is. Laura must take Chrome to Elder, after arrvied Elder then Chrome met Sion and the other at Elder. But she need help to remove curse from her back. Sion accepted Chrome's help, call Cyana, Kurina, Rini, Valentine come to help.
Chrome will trust them and they're trying to remove curse from her back. It beguns Chrome feel painful much. Meanwhile, they successful to remove curse and burn the curse. Chrome was exhausted and rest.
After three hour, Chrome woke up and feel better. Chrome want to thanks Cyana and the others. They're happy and leave to their country. Then Laura wonder what Chrome should do. Chrome changed her mind, she begins to open her heart and talk more when Chrome joins Sion's team. Chrome will find her parent.
Sion accepted Chrome join to, they will be Chrome's friend. She has gained a more casual and friendlier personality, especially when around Sion and the other. She travel with Sion's team for new journey adventure.
