I was learning to use the retouch tool along the way
Please help me with background ideas...I'm currently not satisfied with just the purple aura.

aaay man, this is pretty freakin' sweet. the belt could look more like it's around him than..painted on, though. and his left arm is a bit odd...er, it looks really long to me. could be how you did the hand.
the poncho-esque (yes it looks like one to me, harhar) thing came out especially nice.
