They are different conventions. Dragon*con is in Atlanta... Megacon is in Orlando... Metrocon, AWA, AFO, Kasumicon... there are thousands.

I actually ordered a really terrible halloween costume (which was a long tank top with a zipper down the back), chopped off the straps, chopped off the zipper, took it in... took about an hour.

LOL aw, well i never heard of that tape, have to look into it if I need something like that. for metro I have this dress to sew...I cut out the patterns, except the long sleeves...im so lazy im going to pay someone to do it...i dont want to mess it up and I know I will lose my patience.

Not really, I wouldn't say. I was there with a Ichigo and a Princess Leia a few years ago.
It is right across form the convention center so I am sure they see a lot. I remember I went there during screamfest too.

Not at the time I was in that costume. I was actually the most normal looking. However, I went to "Village Inn" in my Taokaka (the kitty-ish costume)outfit and that got some stairs, some points, and a lot of love! haha.

Well despite the rather wicked looking face it is a very huggable costume.
