McSparkles started out as a practice pony.Practice? Experimenting with glue types and such. It seems that super glue doesn't work with ornaments the size of those swarovski crystals. tacky glue works much better, but it'll have to dry for hours in order to harden completely. Tacky glue also works great for the hair.
Mcsparkles has been rerooted in 4 different colours; dark brown, white, magenta and pink.
Her body has been covered with swarovski crystals and a clothy flower c:
There was also a crystal on her left leg which fell off but I noticed after photographing, so it's been fixed.
my mom's colleague was very interested in buying so this pony has been sold~
Next up are Broodje Unox and ~necrisidragon 's commission once my airbrush is delivered.

If you want some hardcore glue, get Epoxy, there is also a version that hardens within 30 minutes.
Epoxy can hold 300 kilograms on a surface of one square centimeter!

Epoxy doesn't really work out on such small surfaces really.

I think you did a pretty good job with her, the only thing I don't care for is the ribbon around the neck, it looks too bulky for me.
as for glue you should try Liquid Fusion. I bought a bottle at Jo ann's fabric store. It works excellent for gluing just about anything (except helping to hold hair inside the pony's head, it's just too expensive to use for that). I stick a bit on a pin and stick the crystals to that and slide them off on the pony, the crystals don't fall off and it sticks pretty well after just a couple of minutes.

I added it because I made a mistake cutting her head off. For some reason the plastic ripped so her neck ended up looking all jaggy.

You can probably find another brand of Urethane glue there I would guess. I first did Polyurethane glue but it wasn't clear and bubbled up, I switched to the Urethane glue and I don't have to do any clamping and it dries clear, glossy, but clear.

Ooit al eens 'secondelijm' van patex geprobeerd? Verkrijgbaar in 2ml dosissen die gemakkelijk zijn te gebruiken ^^
1 druppel en je hangt vast. Serieus. Mijn moeder moest naar de Spoed omdat ze dat ding had proberen open te wrikken met d'r tanden... Haar gebit was samengelijmd met de tube
En het blijft ook hangen als je iets vastlijmt. Heb een deel van mijn plushie dermee dichtgeplakt xD

Yeah, maakt niet uit welke secondelijm het is, ze ontploffen altijd in m'n gezicht c:
1 druppel = te veel. Dat is het probleem, ik moet moeite doen en dan vlekt het omdat het zo vloeibaar is. Maar Tacky werkt voor nu goed. Lekker rubberig.
