My name is Vales, and I just got done having to do something difficult I thought I'd never do. Well a couple things...
With the eggs around warptide going missing, the whole town scrambled to find them, luckily most were found but other than the worried feeling I had about it, I never expected it to hurt to hand them over. For some reason, I felt a twinge of pain over it. I easily get attached to things, especially kids and eggs. I don't really know why but I got a feeling it is cause of my mother and our past... I guess I just want to have the family I couldn't back then...
Anyways another thing I never thought would happen would be me and Mingle having an actual fight. I don't know what it is with him and having kids, I know it ruined things with his last Ex but other than that I don't know what happened... Maybe he just doesn't see himself fit to be a dad? Maybe cause I'm easy on Zephyr, he sees me as an unfit mom.. I felt my heart shake and my throat go dry... Am I a bad mom? I mean, the reason I don't punish him as much is because I remember being a kid and getting yelled at for little things. When you are a kid, when an adult yells, I know sometimes you are just scared and not really understanding what they are saying... Ugh, today has been a hell in it's own world and I just want to sit back and relax...

Vales had just finished handing off the found egg from Alma, half tempted to ask the nursery mother if she could adopt it. No. Mingle would be upset, she couldn't. The clawed feet of the yellow Wyngro padded against the cobblestone path. Normally, Vales was always happy, smiling and to talk or interact with others. But now, she held her wings close around her with her large ears pinned down more than normal. Her mind was racing with thoughts related to the night before.

'Why...Why doesn't he want to have an egg with me?'

Vales hadn't even noticed the tears welling up in her eyes as she had started gazing at the ground. Even someone who had a hard time picking up the feelings of others could tell something wasn't right with her. Suddenly she found herself at the center of town, the large structure in the middle gleaming brightly. Vales had shifted her gaze to the stone, sitting besides it and letting out a breath of warm air. She closed her eyes, feeling the hot tears stick to her fur, letting the fall air chill the damped spots where they had been. She'd be there for awhile, probably a few hours, trying to hold back the tears. Come sun down, a familiar had would shake her gently and a voice she knew since forever would wake her from her state.

"You ok there Vales?"
Cobalt, good old Cobalt. No matter what she couldn't live without him and he would always be the one gro she always knew could cheer her up. The red boy knelt besides her, trying to look at her tear stained face only to be met with the girl hugging him tightly, burying her face into his chest. She still tried to hold back her tears even with him there. Vales wasn't known to show anything other than a smile, so to see her like this raised many flags. He'd hold her back, unsure what all to do. He was lucky he had known this girl for awhile or else he would be frozen in place.

"...Do you want to get a drink?" He'd chime, trying to cheer her up.
She'd pull away, wiping at her eyes and nodding as he stood up. Cobalt would offer his hand to Vales, helping her get up from her place on the ground.

At the bar, the two had settle at the counter. They probably should have pick a booth to talk but this would do. Vales ordered the hardest sap she could and took it quickly into her hands, sliding a few pieces across the counter for Ash. Cobalt would order next, doing the same.
"So, whats wrong Vales?" Cobalt asked, his tone sweet and soothing. It was a wonder how a girl hadn't snatched him up or how he hadn't snatched a girl yet.
"Do you really want to know? Cause if I open up about it, it'll be like a flood gate, darling." She said her words inbetween glups and sniffles, her eyes casting a sideways glace to him.
"It's Mingle huh?"
"Yeah..."She'd nod as he let out a sigh.
"Well what could be wrong?" Cobalt asked, tapping his fingers on the bar top.
"I'm ready to settle down and have a family... but I don't think he is entirely ready or he just isn't confident in ethier me or himself..." With a thud she'd put down her empty glass and motion for another that Ash would fill up while bringing Cobalt his drink.
"Vales, if he isn't giving you what you want in a realtionship... maybe you guys aren't meant for each other? I mean if he doesn't want a kid you can't force him... and if he only wants you around for dating, maybe you should cut your losts?" He'd take a swig, setting his cup down. "Think about it."

As the night went on, the two kept talking about relationships and how things had been back then while getting more and more sappy.

"Alot has changed since we were lil ones, right scaley butt?" Vales said with a flirty tone, setting a hand on his shoulder.

Cobalt would nod, with a goofy smile " Alot has changed! You got wings and horns and more claws!"

"Well, you got wings and more claws too!" She'd giggle, holding a hand to her mouth. "Alot has changed... but I will admit somethings haven't changed..."
