Truth be told, I actually had some inkling of an idea for this character a long time ago but after rewatching 'batman vs the tmnt' I got the inspiration to actually draw her.

This is Mara Ishani. Many years back, she was just a teenage runaway on the streets when she stumbled on the foot clan robbing a nearby lab. During a conformation, she fights back and holds her own rather well. That's when she's forced to confront the Shredder. He takes her as hostage when the turtles show up. Mara is terrified more at the giant mutated turtles than the foot clan. During the chaos, Mara ended up breaking down a vat from the ceiling, nearly crushing a turtle in the process. The vat contained was a highly flammable liquid and a small fire forced everyone to evacuate. Mara inadvertently helped Shredder and the Foot Clan escape the lab with the supplies they were there to steal. In response Shredder acknowledged her fighting spirit and took her in the train her as a formattable opponent against the meddling turtles.
She took up the name Scorpius due to the lab she met the clan experimented on venom from insects and snakes and her affinity with using a venomous toxin to fight.

As a weapon of choice I choose the Kusarigama. I think they're cool looking weapons and I can imagine Scorpius using them in all sorts of different ways. But even without the weapons, Scorpius is deadly up close. Not only is she a master of martial arts, but her go to take down are dual retractable hollow spikes at her wrists. These spikes not only impale effortlessly but they also inject a paralyzing neurotoxin that in small doses cause unbelievable stinging pain, high temperatures, and muscle paralysis but in large does are lethal.
