There's something about pirates, ships and mermaids that's always intrigued me. Since I was a kid I've had this vision of temptresses saving a rugged dude from drowning during a violent storm. Now thanks to Painter and the tablet I was able to bring that vision to life.Related content

when it comes to mermaids and other fantasy(mostly mermaids) I am addicted! you see I just love the ocean and mermaids. I like the way they just sore through the water. And your drawing/picture reminded me of "the little mermaid" and I love it!

I've loved mermaids since I was little, too, but it's my obsession right now. I don't know why they intrigue me so much, they always have. Anyway, your drawing is gorgeous. Just the thing a noble mermaid would do ^_^

amazing, the way the skin of the looks water-sprayed. It's so hard to make a decent water&human scene...
It sort of reminds me of the undines in my story (Te Shordol Muri Rat). Nice.

Oh, wow, I really like this. The colors are just superb and they soften the appearance of the raging seas but at the same time, they emphasize the chaos of the waves.
Also, the subject is one that I also share, for the whole mermaid/pirate/ships/ocean thing is one of my favorites.

How the f* has only 2 other people commented on this! I expected it to have like a hundred! My god! It's beautiful! The water looks so life like! Their hair is done with such detail it's amazing! Great job on the skin tones, they look so smooth as they should! It's filled with so much action it's as if you are there with them. Great job! It's a fav in my book!
