I hinted that Eggman would be Jon, the one who always bites back with insults.
Cubot would be Emile, as he likes to wise crack to Eggman all the time, trying to tick him off. Plus, he seems like a robot with jokes.
Orbot would be the voice of reason, like Tim. He doesn't wish to be involved with what his boss is yelling at or something.
Than again, I am going with the picture, as both Eggman and Cubot are pretty much at each other's throws. And then there is Orbot, hiding between them.

I think Eggman would be chugga because he is the loudest of the three and he is the leader. (Chugga usually plays as the main character) Orbot is proton because he the sassy one of the group and loves to insult eggman and usually has a gesture that screams I'm surrounded by idiots. Cubot is NCS because he is the nice guy that doesn't get in the arguments.

Also, I don't know why, but when ever I hear Proton, I always think of Eggman being a gamer. But I also would put Sonic in Chugga's shoes, because they always bicker and bite at eachother. Sonic would be the youngest, like Chugga, and the one who normally starts the fights. "To protect ourselves from Jon's Mother!"

Oh my god, the expressiveness evident in their poses! You have Eggman and Cubot gaming up a storm and then Orbot who looks like he wants to go home. And Eggman's logo on the couch cushions. One wonders what they're playing.
