Trying to draw in Clip Studio Paint, but it's VERY difficult for me, at least by the fact that there is a lot of sertting for each brush, and I have to draw using Pen on huge canvases,
because otherwise it would be pixel art, and standart pencil..
I don't know how to configure it so it would be clear line and not go by layers <'D But I REALLY want to start working in this programm!
So here is my first more or less sample in this programm :/
It's difficult when you were working your whole life in SAI in PS and then rapidly move to something new "OTL
And I still a question open how to use scrintones lol

I'm finding this difficult too!! It's quite confusing. But it's the number one program in Japan, so I guess it's worth it.
I normally use openCanvas because I think SAI is too simplistic and basic. (And I STILL find clip studio paint difficult!!)

ну название проги в шапке поста хддд Прога интересная, это как склеить Саи, мангастудию и немного фотошоп воедино, и выйдет неплохой сборник!! во многом похоже на ОЧЕНЬ прокачаный саи)) по этому стоит попробовать, но разбираться придется дооолго и нудно.. ну хотя кому как :")
На счет Саи 2 я огорчу :С мы говорили с разработчиком, он обещал, что сделает бесплатный релиз еще зимой, но после сказал, что не получится, и программу он ВОЗМОЖНО закончит аж в 2016-2017 годах, просто он там один работает над программой, при чем как бесплатное приложение к первому саи, я юзал триальник, конечно выглядит многообещающе)) но ждать чего-то в ближайшее время не имеет смысла :С

вот дерьмо(((( мне там так понравилась та перспектива которая сама себя рисует, но смотрю в этом клип студио она тоже есть, возможно это варик и стоит попробывать, бо саи уже становится маловато... фотошоп ваще не перевариваю, пеинтер чисто для живописи какойто я хз, криту пробовал - не поперло, всякие пиксельные проги ваще отстой, даже не знаю на что еще посмотреть( и да, надо чтото без хоткеев, чтоб все мышкой клацалось, планшет то без клавы, тяжко

вот вот, я сам бы саи ни на что не променял, но его тупо стало мало, с фш тоже не перевариваю :") тем более с каждой новой версией они издеваются над кистями все больше, все же фотошоп больше не для рисования, а редактирования. Так что гоу пробовать клип студио! правда ссылку с ломаной норм версией не найду, так что придется долго и нужно выгугливать и рыскать по торрентам :С

кароч нашел я рабочую крякнутую версию, затестил, шото такое вроде интересное, настроек дофига как в фотошопе прям, стабилизация прикольная штука, и кисточка которая спамит летящие лепестки сакуры это 10 из 10 о господи ) но наверно я уж сильно прилип к сае... неудобно все эти задроченые фильтры юзать, хз даж переучусь ли. И вектор там какойто неясный, так и не нашел под него специального конкретного инструмента, тока обычными кисточками фигачить как я понял.

вот я тоже, разобрался во всем, до мелочей и понял, что мне проще и быстрее использовать старую связку ФШ+Саи
ибо я попытался порисовать даже теже странички манги, я делаю на несколько часов дольше, чем в старой связке, даже при том, что Клипе есть готовые настоящие скринтоны и сделать скринтон нужен всего один клик.
С текстом там пиздец. Он только ровно горизонтально пишется........
и вектор тоже, да, я его не понял

у меня была мысля что мб если привыыыыкнуть тада буит збс, но чот както очень обламует х( не тянет чот
вторую саю бы( там всего ничего добавить то, пару фильтров, текста и в интерфейс по мелочам и мы были бы счастливы

Honestly, CSP feels better for me overall. I really liked SAI (I prefer drawing there over in Photoshop), but CSP just feels nicer to me somehow? Though I'd still rather do pixel work in SAI. I do like that it has a text tool, but all the different brushes really are a lot. I tend to use a very limited set of brushes for things (I've been using the rough pencil brush a lot for sketching and lining), but the options make the brushes pretty flexible (not sure how much better photoshop is in that regard). It doesn't have everything that photoshop does since it's not meant for photo editing, but I think it's a pretty nice program.
I'm no expert, though, and am still learning the program myself. XD

I agree with you. Idk what it is about CPS but my art comes out much better looking to me compared to SAI (which will always be the best for pixel work)

Different programs work for different people! I feel like I've done better and more varied work since I got the program, which is really nice, and the tools it has are pretty awesome, so I always recommend it to people looking for more art programs to try.

I recently got Clip Studio Paint and it was really tricky to sketch in there at first, but now I sketch entirely in CSP. I like how you can customize brushes a LOT, but Photoshop still has a lot of things that CSP doesn't have like color dynamics (so far as I know at least). Looks pretty good though, keep up the good work!

I was always working in SAI and a lot of options doesn't scare me x'D
I hope some addons in CSP would help me to open PS less frequently,

xD If you need tips or anything, let me know. Using it since it came out and I loooooove the program <3 Especially the ribbon brushes. *made a chain brush right on the first day and abuses it all the time*

ah yeah its hard to go into another programm. i save money for the new manga studio programm or the other one my friend is useing but when you are use to draw in this one you will be even better^^

I Dont like MS but Clip Studio can work like MS studio because have same brushes and screentoones o.o mb u try it too? *v*
But yeah I know many peps who happy with MS studio hehe :3

Looks like you did pretty good for a test run! I never really saw much difference between SAI and Clip besides Clip having more options and access to 3D reference models, but that could be because I draw pretty damn massive to begin with. Here's hoping the program grows on you (and do keep SAI or PS around for resizing... it's the one thing Clip can't really do)! If you have any issues, feel free to give me a holler and I'll see if I can be of help.

for me this programm is hard because there is too many options!! I used to simple SAI and to certain features of photoshop, so when I open Clip all I can do is scream in panic "WHATS GOING ON?" and pick first available brush in attempt to draw something x'D
