Just an Illustration of how my first Original Illustrated Novel is developing on DA over the years in my free time : )Welcome to Eresteur
You would probably recognize some of the characters' appearances so far from the story, so I'm just going to let first impressions stay as they are and let readers explore the untold as the pages flick...
I thought this would also give a more clear vision of the current setting for the next chapter. (I also was planning to expand it into the distance, but if readers remember the map, that large tower was actually pretty ominous and overwhelming when I began sketching it...
)Well anyways, I really wish I could draw every panel with all the detail I imagined... but I think it'll take me forever to finish it XP
I really intend to see the completion of this whole story visually... I wonder what it would become one day? I would dream to see this as an animation some day...

A town where life flows slowly that you can relax and enjoy true serenity?... Love it!!! Both the coloring and the composition. The yellowish tone makes it look so refreshing! This reminds me of some childhood RPG games.
The only thing I wanted to point out is that the shadow of the boy (to the bottom-right corner) and those on the street were casted in different directions.
BTW, thanks for featuring my work in your journal years ago. haha

Thanks x10! I love the old styles of animations when they used to hand draw them traditionally alot, so mostly I hope my illustration could bring out a good story telling feel to it too.
And o.m.g. I did not notice that at all XP Thanks for pointing that out! I think I should try to fix it once I get my other artworks out. Lol, I can't believe it > <

The whole illustrated novel is still in development at the moment and really hope the places get bigger and more lively as I draw out the whole story.
