There are some great things you can do with this that I didn't mention in the tutorial.
-Use a pre-determined set of buttons to make them small at the ends and larger towards the middle.
-Use smaller buttons on one side than the other to make it easier to bend one way instead of another. This way, you can do neat things like have plain plastic buttons on the inside and nice shell buttons on the outside.
-Add a bead to the outside bits of cord to add more interest to what might otherwise be a minimalist chain.
